Airport transfers
Airport transfers in Georgia
A private transfer in Georgia is a car and a driver for your group alone, booked at a fixed price for the whole vehicle, not per person. We meet you at Tbilisi, Kutaisi or Batumi airport with a name sign, or at your hotel, and drive you anywhere in the country. Because so many of Georgia's monasteries, fortresses and viewpoints lie between towns, we treat every longer transfer as a small day trip: tell us where you want to stop and the driver plans the day around it.

Airport transfer FAQ
Is the price per person or per car?
Per vehicle. Three friends in a sedan pay the same as one traveller, which is why a private transfer often costs little more than a shared taxi for a small group.
Can we stop on the way?
Yes, that is the point. On longer routes we suggest stops such as Ananuri on the way to Kazbegi or Uplistsikhe on the way west. Short photo stops are included; longer visits are agreed when you book so the driver can plan the day.
What happens if my flight is delayed?
Your driver follows the flight and adjusts the pick-up time. You do not need to call us.
Which vehicle do I need?
A sedan for up to three people with normal luggage, a minivan for four to seven or for lots of bags, an SUV for mountain tracks such as Tusheti, and a minibus for larger groups.
Do I need a 4x4 to go to Kazbegi or Mestia?
Not in summer: both roads are paved. In winter we may switch to a 4x4 for snowy stretches. Tusheti and Khevsureti always need one.
Can you take us across the border to Armenia?
Yes, ask us for a quote. Crossings into Azerbaijan by land have been restricted since 2020, so check the current rules before planning one.
How do I pay?
Prices are quoted in US dollars; you can pay in cash in lari, dollars or euros to the driver, or by card or bank transfer in advance.
Do the prices include entrance tickets?
No. Tickets to caves, canyons, museums and cable cars are paid on the spot. Our route pages give approximate 2026 prices.
Last checked Oct 2026 by the Maspindzeli team. Mountain conditions change: ask us before you go.

Send your flight number and hotel. We confirm the driver and the fixed price the same day.
