Families from Kutaisi and Tbilisi come up for the fresh nights and the mineral springs.

The best time to visit Sairme is July to September, when the air is pleasantly cool compared with the lowlands and evenings are fresh. July and August are the peak, and weekends fill with Georgian families, so book early. September is quieter and has the clearest skies of the year. May and June are green but showery. Winter suits a spa break with a fair chance of snow; pack for icy paths.
