Local weather tip

The figures on this page are for the bottom of the lifts. The top, at ~3,160 m, is around 900 m higher, so expect it to be several degrees colder and often windier, with visibility that can change within minutes. Leaving the base at -4 °C on a January morning means riding into much harsher cold at the summit. Cover your face, check the lift status in Mestia, and come down when cloud rolls in.
